Flag |
The first flag is used to assist military coordination on battlefields, and flags since evolved into a general tool for basic signal and identification, especially in environments where communication is also challenging (such as the maritime environment where semaphore is used). The national flag is a potent patriotic symbols with varied wide interpretations, often including strong military associations due to their original and ongoing military. The flag is also used in messaging, advertising, or for other decorative purposes. The study of flags is known as vexillology.
Starting in the early 17th century, it became customary (and later a legal requirement) for ships to carry their national flag; these flags eventually evolved into the national flags and maritime flags later in the day. The flag is also a preferred means of communication at sea, resulting in various systems of flag signals; such as the international maritime signal flags.
The use of flags outside the military or naval context begins with the emergence of nationalist fervor in the late 18th century, at the beginning of the national flag for the period, and during the 19th century it became common for any sovereign country to introduce a national flag.
Savanna |
Temperatures in the savanna regions remain the same throughout the year, ie warm. But the savannah has two very distinct seasons, the dry season and the wet season. In the dry season, there were only 4 inches of rainfall. Even between December and February there was no rain at all. But in the dry season, the weather was colder. Whereas in the summer, savanna gets a lot of rain. In Africa, the rainy season begins in May and rainfall reaches 15 to 25 inches all the time.
There are several different types of savannas around the world. The most well known savanna is located in East Africa is overgrown by acacia trees. Serengeti Plain in Tanzania is one of them. There live animals such as the lions, zebras, elephants, giraffes, and buffalo.
River |
In some cases, a river simply flows into the soil before finding bodies of water. Through the river is the usual way for the rain that fell on the mainland to flow into the sea or a large water reservoir like a lake. River consists of several parts, starting from the spring that flows into the creek. Some tributaries will merge to form a major river. The water flow is usually bordered by a channel with a base and a cliff on the left and right. The end of the river where the river meets the sea is recognized as the river mouth.
The river is one part of the hydrologic cycle. The water in the river is generally collected from precipitation, such as rain, dew, springs, underground runoff, and in certain countries also comes from melting ice / snow. Besides water, the river is also flowing sediment and pollutants.
